HaHA!... No I will not blame anything upon 'technology' as long as I can still choose what tech I wanna use which is mostly retro since I really don't care about the internet or how it's 'steering' users... Offline I can be my own king...
But others are with me apparently... Here's Peshay Studio Set (1996) with nothing to see but old Bryce 2 renders & music but uploaded 7 years ago has almost 4 million views & 148,000 likes... Good for them all!!
I started a thread over at the SunVox forum a bit over 2 years ago on a retro music tracker - AXS (ported from DOS to windows in 2001 given free) it is less than 460 KB full directory size does music good if you know music... I just captured the views-
Will probably hit a million views by years end... Curious to have a look? Here's the GUI-
Even has full manual right on the GUI, They just don't make 'em like that anymore...
Sound OK? I guess so if so many are using it... You can judge mine-
Latest - AXS Jazzmonger-

Before that - Pulp Friction (alert there are some cuss words in this one, there's a back story to that)

A 30 second jingle - Kernel Klink-

The upshot is that retro tech is gaining speed & many are rejecting the new as they see 'through it'... I saw this coming decades ago so back then I collected everything I could get my hands on burning to disc for safe keeping... Now that almost nothing works on XP I don't collect anything anymore but I got a good 40 bins of stuff with a good 75% you can't find anywhere anymore...
OK a bit over the top for a reply but I do alot of screens-images so it's same-same for me...
