It transpires that Windows XP was never in any danger from the recent WanarCyptOr ransomware. Apparently, the stolen NSA EternalBlue exploit that was the basis for this disgusting piece of malware didn't run properly on XP.....

I wonder if that means we can install Windows XP RTM no service packs, connect to the net, and NOT get immediately hit with "your windows is shutting down in 60 seconds" I think it was MSBlaster worm? hahaha gotta redirect the bot-nets to more lucrative targets!
