Other Windows Forums

I'm new to the site, and enjoying it a good bit. I'm wondering if there are any forums for Win 3.x.x Win 95, Win 98 and others.

Which ones do you guys recommend I check out?

What about DOS?

Am I the only person still using?

Albeit only occasionally, but if I want to input or output binary data between PC and some DIY digital circuitry, a byte at a time, it is not too difficult to rig the parallel port to do this under DOS.

My knowledge does not extend to being able to use the system calls that Windows utilises to achieve the same result. I am willing to learn, but at least to date, I have not come across a concise 'How To' I would find it difficult to reconfigure a parallel port without the OS giving me direct access to the hardware.

DOS is cool, but I'm a Linux guy and only know the Linux terminal... sorry.
