    Problems with fonts

    Hello everyone! I am using Windows XP Professional. My problem is that: after installing new font Word (2000) can see it only until restart and then loses it. I can print document with new font just after installation, but I can't save the doc in my computer - after restart doc loses that font. The worst thing - a bunch of installed programs stop working (including System Mechanic). Uninstalling any of supplied fonts cause same problem. So each time I am forced to use registry backup to return those programs in working condition. Currently there are no Adobe Acrobat programs in my computer (I had them before). Can somebody explain why it happens?
