Computer hangs at verifying dmi pool data and gives a error after a short while of a black screen.

    Its the RAM comfirmed MEMORY_MANAGEMENT bsod buying new RAM.

    That would be very rare but do as you wish, if it was 512mb it could be DDR or DDR2 , make sure you count the slotting or read the label before buying since they are 2 different sizes. This sounds like $5 from craigslist
