XP Ultimate?

What is XP Ultimate? Various places on line give different replys. Couple places claim it does not exist, even.

I visited a local computer shop, they let me rummage through their recyclable junk box.

What I did get was a CD = Windows XP Ultimate, with the activation numbers printed on the label.
Also sez 'corporate edition'.

Its not a computer burned (+r,-r cd), its a 'pressed' mass produced disk.

Also sez "LIMITED TO 250,000 MACHINES"!

Have not tried install yet, , , ,

Best as I can figure its a homebrew version of XP.

Microsoft never officially released an 'Ultimate' version of XP, though that wouldn't have been a bad idea at all. Any 'Ultimate' XP you find is definitely home-brew.
