xp install on Lenovo

I am trying to install XP on a Lenovo 7635. I know it can be done because the gut I got from had XP on it. It was wiped before I got it so I have start from the beginning.
What I have tried.
Loading XP pro from the disk ends up with a blue screee and error Stop 0x0000007B
Downloaded river from Lenovo and
Tried turning off AHCI in bios
Tried the F6 at install and load AHCI driver from floppy. no go get blue screen
Tried creating new xp install using nLite and drivers. no go get blue screen
Tried cloning my existing XP and installing drive in new unit. Windows continually reboots.
I was thinking if I knew where the drivers load order was in Windows I could deleted some of them on the clone drive until I get it to load then let windows find the new drivers. But I don't know where the list of drivers is stored.

My gut tells me the drivers I have downloaded are not correct but I am getting them direct from Lenovo.

meaning of stop code

unless xp either home, pro, or media edition center came on the lenovo you will not be loading xp.

get an online manual here for your lenovo, unless you wiped the entire drive, you may have a hidden restore partition.
 
I have been to all those sites already and those are the drivers I am trying to load because I do believe it is driver issue for the AHCI.

The unit had XP on it before I got it. It had to be wiped for security reasons so I know XP will run on it.
The manual is for hardware. I don't see anything about loading XP in it.
 
Started at the beginning and tried the F6 option but did not get the screen displayed even when downloading the driver from the link provided.
The 'Intel(R)ICH10D/DO SATA AHCI Controller option was not on the list of devices to choose from. I tried all the ones that did appear and none of them worked. I have been to all those links already. None of them were giving any info that worked.

Also have been to this page and tried everything with no results.

Been through all of those already.

Looking for info now how to see the list of drivers XP tries to install so I can manually edit the list of a cloned install from another machine.
 
when setup first installs all the drivers installed flash by pretty quick on the bottom of screen. but I will keep searching for this list.
 
Actually I want to edit the list via regedit or what ever means there is. I know what the last driver to load is from a safe mode load, so I want to delete the next one in the list or the last one that loaded and see if the clone install will boot up.
 
can you change your bios to IDE?

that way xp will install easier, and once it is on you can then install other drivers for SATA or achi.
