    Hello Everyone
    I have an old xp with sp3 and am having problems installing it on a Dell latitude E6230, I think it hasn't any sata drivers. I did in the past download drivers for my Dell vostro 1320 onto a floppy and installed it via F6 but I cant get the same process, different drivers, to work with the latitude.
    How can I install to the latitude and what drivers do I need.
    Any help appreciated.

    you can get drivers above, but I need the hard drive info to see if it is a sata drive or not, go to device manager or just look at the harddrive and give me the make and model number.

    ==========

    also what was on the latitude before? operating system
    if you have a dell install cd, you can install it on any dell that had that same operating system, but you cannot install home to a pro pc .

    what type of install media do you have?
