For anybody who has XP Home, does the Guest Account allow for software (such as firefox) to be installed in the programs folder? I tried it on my pro version, and the Guest account could not write in it. (I wasn't prompted for any admin passwords or anything)

Just wondering if its the same for Windows XP Home? If one of you guys could try it out, that'd be awesome

    thanks.

is firefox in the All Users folder?? if so then the guest account have access or you can right click on the program and choose security, add, advanced, find now, select Guest, click apply and okay and this should allow an already installed version of firefox to be used in the guest account.

remember you will only see the security tab in safe mode in the xp home version.

I have pro so I cannot test this and my guest account is disabled. :)
