windows xp cannot start (dual boot 8 and xp)

    i want to get the dual boot option, 8 and XP, my 8 is in C and i've successfully installed xp on D, and i have an quite important assignment, so must boot from 8 to do that, then i did startup repair with windows 8 installation DVD, and succeessfully did that, and after finished my assignment then i want to add XP to boot option, i use easybcd and did the same as in sevenforums dualboot 7 and XP tutorial
    but the xp always cannot be loaded, my laptop always directly boots from windows 8. please help me
