I have installed linux 13 mint on my laptop, then I wanted to install xp to make dual boot. I have read that it is preferred to install windows first then XP. So I booted linux mint from usb and used gparted to edit the partition to have one partition ntfs in the beginning and another partition ext4 (thus formatting linux mint).

Now when I install xp, in the install progress, the list of available partitions shows only a third drive (I don't know where it comes from, may be it is the bootable usb ! as the size of the drive is about 14 GB). and doesn't show any of the other two drives, neither the NTFS nor the ext4, and thus I cannot install windows xp.

    Any help ?
