DRM is Digital Rights Management
Digital Rights Management (DRM) is technology that enables online video and audio services to enforce that the content they provide is used in accordance with their requirements. This technology may restrict some of the things you can do in the browser. Many services are moving towards HTML5 video that requires a different DRM mechanism called a Content Decryption Module (CDM).
I looked and couldn’t find it in my 32bit Windows XP versions of Firefox, MyPal, or 360.
In windows 10 64Bit Firefox there is a setting to turn on DRM

DRM allows you to watch content that has DRM on such as premium films from Youtube.
Please note that 2 weekends ago I purchased the Film “River” from YouTube and could no longer play Premium films under Firefox (Latest updates on Windows 10 64bit) I contacted YouTube explained the problem with screen shots and requested a refund for the films that I had purchased. I was refunded for every film within 10 minutes. So basically, it could be the case that you will lose the option to play a lot of content as time goes by, unless you are running Chrome on Windows 11.
