I installed almost every updates with the Windows Update Mini Tool (v.20.12.2016) but I can't install 17 updates for XP Embedded, because it gives me the 0X80240022 error. How can I fix it?

go to start/turnoff computer/ look at the buttons, if there is a little shield on the turn off button that means the updates will not install until the machine is shut down NOT restarted, the numbers will fluctuate but eventually the pc will shut down and the updates will be installed

then shut down again if the shield is still there, since there are still some updates, also some might not install if they have been superseded by a different update

hmmm, since I do not have pos ready installed on my pc, it would seem better to wait and see if one of the other members , who do have pos ready might be able to help you better.
