The volume control slider will not advance beyond a 75% setting. When using the mouse to advance the slider to maximum, it immediately reverts back to a 3/4 setting. How to correct?

also uninstall and reinstall the sound driver, I can help you find the driver if you tell me the make, model and model number of your pc, and is it a laptop or a desktop.
