    Hello!

I have a little problem with customizing my XP...

I have Windows XP Proffesional base wersion orginally, and i have installed Service Pack 2,
and next, Service Pack 3 on it.
I know, is available versions of XP which have service packs built-in, but I have CD with
old XP, and i was updating it.
My version of base XP is legal, i was buy license for xp proffesional.

My problem is with applications which customizing visual view of XP.
I was have installed Vistamizer, version 2.2.1. This vistamizer was contain additional
    apps, e.g. Styler, TrueTransparency, etc...
This apps was give me chance to change not only interface to vista-like, but too change
colours of this interface. (Styler exactly).
Now i have installed Vistamizer 4.3.0, and it haven't Styler and rest of apps, then i have
only six styles provided by vistamizer author....

Can I download and install Styler for Vistamizer 4.3, and from where if?

StyleXp is too nice app, but it tell mi "Cant run StyleXp under your windows build version.

What i can do, if i want have xp with nice vista interface, and chance to colorize it in my
    colors?

Only chance is back to vistamizer 2.2, or is something better?

Sorry for my english, i know its horrible :p

Thanks very much for all sugestions and help, Matthew

    Hello Maciej.tumi,

The best customising pack I used for XP was and still is Bricopack Vista. Just type Bricopack (or Bricopac) into your browser, it should appear. The major upgrade to the Bricopack Vista for XP was 2005, that is the one to look for. It is a zip/exe file and will auto-run.

You have the options to go with the basic install which does not use any system resources. That is the one I favoured as the other install options do use up more resources than necessary.

The other Bricopack for XP gives a fairly hard to see Linux look with that silly penguin.

It is best to create a Restore Point first as the Bricopack install changes many system files. And, the good news is if you do not like the new Vista themed look you can simply uninstall it and go back to the XP look you had before.

Don't worry about your use of the English language. We are really a global community in this forum and appreciate that English is the most difficult language to learn and use (after Finn and Estonian I would say).

    Cheers,

    Mark. (Aunty Jack).

    Hello Matthew,

Point taken about the Linux Penguin. Actually I like Linux as an OS. The only thing that lets Linux down for me is the sometimes inability with WINE to run Windows programs.

Yes, I would uninstall Vistamizer first.

    Cheers,

    Mark. (Aunty Jack).

    Hello again :)

In internet, i was find some versions of Bricopacks, e.g. Crystal, Vista Inspirat,
    Longhorn Inspirat....

For me, it look likes some themes, created by authors, but how is possibility to change
colors of this themes on my own conception?
Is any program which can do it, or I must do my own bricopack, or editing files of any
    existing?

You could always open up a visual style editor, but I don't know of any.
