Hi, I hope someone will be able to help. I have an old Toshiba Tecra M9 laptop.

XP Professional 2002 Service Pack 3. 1.9 GB of Ram

I'm hoping to wipe it clean and reset it back to factory settings.I believe this is possible using the Product Recovery disc that came with the machine.

The only instructions that i can find (on the disc sleeve) which are very straight forward should be easy to follow

My question is after i have run the Product Recovery disc it states reinstall additional software
e.g. Works Suite. The machine came with Office Basic 2007, can i install Office Professional Plus or at least Word 2010 and Outlook 2010.

As regards saving any documents or photos, i assume it is just a matter of making a copy of anyhing required before running the recovery disc.

Thanks in advance for any answers.
