My PC does not have any PCI express slots. Are all USB 3.0 cards PCI express? I purchased a 1TB external drive and want to transfer data as fast as possible to I really need a USB 3.0 connection. Thanks!

Sometime ago before I even read this post, I googled hard and long and finally found a purchaseable item PCI USB 3.0 card (not PCI Express, just plain PCI) for sale from a different province very far away from my own, in my country. But I did not purchased it. I was turned off since USB 3.0 PCI or PCI Ex cards both will need to be connected to the power supply of the CPU. I just settled for the built-in USB 2.0 port. So perhaps there are also items for sale in your own country as well. Just use Google over and over just as I did before. Good luck.
