    OS = XP Pro SP3

    I have 3 HDDs internal - 3 partitions, 9 HDDs external (USB 2.0)- 11 partitions.
    :confused:Examining Computer Management - Device Manager- Universal Serial Bus controllers
    I find listed:
    6 Generic USB Hubs
    4 USB Universal Host Controllers
    1 USB2 Enhanced Host Controller
    2 USB Composite Devices
    11 USB Mass Storage Devices
    5 USB Root Hubs
    Can anyone tell me what the USB hardware structure looks like?
    How do the Generic hubs and Root hubs relate?
    I assume the 11 USB Mass Storage Devices are my 11 partitions, correct?
    How can I tell?

    Thanks
