Ubuntu to finally drop Unity Shell, switch back to Gnome. Phone and Tablet versions "dead".

Ubuntu is finally ditching that horrible clunky GUI they introduced 6 years ago and will be heading back to Gnome next year. Additionally, Ubuntu Phone and Tablet editions have both just ceased development.

Guess when you have a commercial organisation (Canonical) behind a distro, then not surprising that it behaves like Microsoft!
