Ublock origin

Discussion in 'Windows XP Security' started by Skeleton11223, Jul 27, 2017.

  1. If you use an adblock, use ublock origin, it is the lightest adblock around, uses around half as much ram as adblock plus.
But that's not the point of this since this is the security section, but anyways, I highly recommend it for the other reason stated and it also blocks malicious pages which can really improve your security since this OS is unsupported.

I tried 'ublock' & instantly got a firefox popup saying ff had just disabled/turned off 360 tot sec.
because it was incompatable with ff 55(?).
    I use ff 29(?) & ff 52. What gives?
    I disabled 'ublock' & 360 works fine, , , ,

from my research you can use either ublock or 360 but not together. :)

Try Ad Muncher if uBlock don't work. Most review sites consider it second best to uBlock, but it works fine for me!

Sorry, but forgot to mention I also have 'Cookienator' installed...no telling which is doing the best for me. Don't seem to be fighting though, so I'm content. Rarely see any ads.
