turn down power of graphics card

    hi i am running a 350w graphics card and i have a 300w power supply. Can i turn the power of the graphics card? :confused:

    A card is designed to work at a certain level, you cannot change it, and to use the card with a lower rated power supply, would most likely cause some heat problems, as you can read in some of the threads above.

    As a power supply is not very expensive you might just purchase a new one and ensure it is compatible with your pc and will fit your case.
