Trying to get a 3.5in ide ssd. Preferably one of those that stick into the motherboard.

I’m currently using a 2.5in ide ssd to 3.5in ide adapter and it’s somehow slower than my laptop using CrystalDiskMark

    Anyone got any suggestions?

Get something like the form factor adapter in the link I gave you. It won't have any interface between the drive and motherboard.
