One of my computers has started freezing up when I (tried) to copy files. I tried copying "Firefox Portable" folder, (=1+ gig). About ½ way through, comp froze totally. Had to switch off psu. Tried about 12 MB file, same. Tried a few BMP images, not large ones, same issue. What gives?

Oh, Different comp to usb, ok. usb to this computer not, & sata to sata drives, (this comp), not. Same issue.

checkdisk should be done with the /r parameter :)

and run at least twice until no errors are found
