in firefox, go to history, within the history dialog box there is a spot on top that says import and backup, within that box you can save your bookmarks to an html file.

do not know how in other browsers, :)

Thank you Elizabeth, sorry i am late out here getting back, to say thanks
and like wow!!!!!!! I was (as often is the case with most things) really confused,
I watched a u tube on how, that should have been called
""""300 things you can do, while trying to copy your book marks"
OK I DID ABOVE as you said, do I just put the file on a flash and import "ON" to my ms 7 machine, PS it is off the net, does that matter, do i have to be on the net to transfer, if yes why.
And yes, I have been feeding the pig, he has taken on some weight since that picture was taken, but I bought him a little motorized running tread mill, with head phones,
mostly he likes "St. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band"

you do not have to be on the net to import bookmarks, they can be on a flash or take them off the flash put them on the 7 desktop. then in history just hit import and remember that you will lose whatever bookmarks you have now there will only be the bookmarks on the new file, so if you have one you need save the url to notepad, then do the import, then copy/paste the url from notepad to address bar and save your page in your new bookmarks, I like to backup my bookmarks about every 2 or 3 days as I change a lot, :)
