There is a way to make recents apps working on XP?

I mean, safe kernel extentions, apart from the unofficial SP4 (which works just on english based OSes, whilst mine is italian)
 
What are the names of the recent apps that you want to know if they will work in Windows XP SP3 32-bit?
As time goes by, there are fewer and fewer of them which support that operating system.
The same applies to Windows Vista SP2 32/64-bit.
