I don't know that this is an XP problem, or a browser problem; however, any time I try to access the stumbleupon site, my browser immediately jumps to the maximum usage of my cpu, according to TaskManager, and the browser (Firefox) all but freezes solid.

Anyone else having this experience, and if so, any comments????

no, I did not have a problem, I also use firefox and xpsp3

I would run malwarebytes as many times as it takes to get clean scans and run your antivirus also,

Do all that, everyday, but Firefox still seems to hang trying to get to stumbleupon. Stumbleupon is not really that important to me, so I can easily give it up. Thanks for your response....

you are welcome, you could try to run firefox in safe mode, and see if it is one of your addons or extensions causing this problem. :)
