skype installation on dell3000 with XP

    Any good link for skype installation?
    I found one but the installation was unsuccessful.

    is your system 64bit?? if not you should have sp3, it is several years old already and there are many updates after that.

    For Windows XP SP2, you need to utilize the Wayback Machine (Archive.org) to access a previous version of Skype. You need Skype 6.6 which is the last version for XP Service Pack 2:

    I am a new user and unable to post a link here, but if you do a Google search for "skype windows xp service pack 3" you will find the archived download link for Skype 6.6. The file is called SkypeSetup_6.6.0.106.msi
