Should I get an IDE 2.5in ssd or 1.2in msata ssd with IDE adapter?

    i figured if i wanted to use my toshiba satellite R15-s829 I might as well get an ssd. now software isn’t a problem as i own a copy of easeus and have an ide/sata usb but i can’t seem to decide which type of ssd i should get

    When I considered getting a 2.5 in IDE SSD, I was put off by the price. They seemed very costly compared to other formats.

    Have been pleased with problem free performance with a number of mSATA drives which I use, but have never used them with an IDE adaptor, so cannot comment concerning their quality.

    Another option is a (fast) compact flash card with a CF-to-IDE adapter. This works well on my Win98 box.
