I would value a decent utility tool that diagnoses and fixes issues on XP.
However, every instance I have examined so far has turned out to be 'scareware', and requests a heavy subscription to apply fixes to the reported problems.
Some of these are quite blatant, and report hundreds of errors on a fresh install/ a fresh install followed by a cleanup of remnants Microsoft leaves behind.
I will not, on principle, do business with the perpetrators of scareware, no matter if their product be good or not.
Has anyone got a recommendation for diagnostic/repair tool that is not scareware?
