My XP Pro has developed a problem with saved passwords. When opening a program which requires a PW, it no longer offers a chance to enter a PW before hitting "Next." Therefore, it always thinks the PW block is empty, for that first attempt.
When it does offer me a PW on the second try, it is now always the last PW used, rather than the one associated with the program I'm opening.

I want to get into the PW list and delete all the screwed up ones. Or, delete all but the logon PW and start over.

what programs do you have that require a password??

    what is your current antivirus??

do the following to ensure your pc is clean:

Download, install, update and do full scan with these free malware detection programs:

    Malwarebytes Free (MBAM): http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/

    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

Remove all found, reboot, and run again until scans run clean, these can be removed afterwards if you so choose. Run scans one at a time, please.

    Found it

When I tried to change from DoNotTrackMe to BLUR, as recommended, It messed up MaskMe. I reloaded MaskMe and cured the problem.
I was thinking it was XP saving the passwords when it was MaskMe. BLUR is not compatible with XP, but the DoNotTrackMe still works fine.
    Thank you for the response.
