Sata drive not visible on window xp

On DOS screen it's shown DVD Sata drive installed BUT I can't see it on window XP, even I insert the setup disc. Is there any drivers to be installed on window ? Thanks for help
 
when you have sata drives, you have to download the sata drives to a floppy disk and install during the F6 phase of an xp installation,

or you can create a slipstreamed cd with n-lite, which will incorporate the sata drivers into your installation cd.
 
got too the motherboard makers site you should find them in their download section for floppy or usb install or as above with Elizabeth :)
