    Hi All,
I have read that one can not save the restore point file for XP on a different drive as it is stored in the System Volume Information that is hidden in the root directory. However, I still want to try it out of curiosity. If I am able to make the restore point file unhidden and then copy it to my flash drive, it would be unbelievably useful. I had my share of bad luck and had my computer infected by viruses that can corrupt my restore point file. I know many people will say there are other ways to get what I want to achieve, but I like to explore new ways of doing things. Also I don't know if this idea had ever been tried before. Please give me your opinions whether you think this could work or not. Thanks in advance for your reply.
