Remote Desktop Suddenly Stopped Working

My skill level: Beginner

Everything was fine and dandy until earlier this week I am no longer able to remote into my office computer. No settings have been changed. This error message that I get is:

This computer can't connect to the remote computer.


Office computer has internet access and public ip address not changed.

i dont think hes gonna reply anytime soon, he registered in 2012 posted 1 message (that one) and never posted again, and even if he is still active wich is unlikely i dont think he has still this problem
