    Hi folks:

I am not able (cost) to either upgrade or purchase new hardware to upgrade from XP, if I wanted to. My question: If I ever have to reinstall XP from my CD, will I still be able to update it, service pack, security and misc.?

    Thanks,

    Robert G

All Windows XP updates should be available from Windows online Update. You can also download individual and major version service packs such as SP2 and SP3.

When to install SP2 before installing SP3.
