Putting back network

    I have to dismantle a 20 node network in a couple of months and then put ii back together.

    The machines are as follows 18 of them run XP, Pro SP3, one runs PC OS Linux and one is a ubuntu-win 7 dual boot.

    My question is if I remove all the keyboards and mice (they are different brands) do I need to keep track which tower they came from or can I put them back at random. Or will I need to install new device drivers if I put them back randomly? I am new to this so forgive my ignorance.
