Porting active desktop to x64 edition?

    One of the features of 32-bit XP that I was disappointed to see absent from x64 edition was the ability to set an animated gif as a wallpaper and have it actually properly animate. This was due to a feature called Active Desktop. Did anyone ever port Active Desktop to XP x64 Edition?
