Odysee Videos Won't Load

Just reverted back to the older 2019 version of basilisk52 Serpent browser. Like before, Odysee page comes up, but video screen just shows never ending "hourglass" twirling circle.

The same videos (all tried thus far) do load in my version of 360Chrome, but the playback is broken up with audio not matching video, both being very choppy.

I hate switching back and forth between browsers for Bitchute videos already (which FF won't load at all), and now I don't even have that option with Odysee.

Any recommendations on how to tweak Basilisk so it will play Odysee?

EDIT: Come to think of it, there are other issues I'm having with Serpent that might be related? Twitter pages won't load either.
Reddit pages always have a "scan this QR Code" message that I can't make disappear.
Stackoverflow pages have a large cookies selection dialog box which stays there no matter what selection I make.

Thanks,
Wolf

Odysee vids working for me on Roytam1 most recent basilisk52 and even on MyPal 29.3.
I also use MyPal 68.13.2b

Maybe it has to do with which plugins are installed? I'm not sure what most of them do.

Thanks for the tip on MyPal 68.13.2b TMTGTR,

I've been playing with it for about 30 minutes now and I like this. Seems pretty quick and has played every video that I threw at it thus far, including Bitchute and Odysee.

Wouldn't allow me to install Ublock Origin from my file, but did install it from the online source, so that got rid of the pesky ads on youtube and other sites.

I also D/L Opera 36 (last version for XP), but the way this version of MyPal is running I won't play with it just yet.

Thank You!
Wolf

Cool. :)
Regarding Opera 36
I have version 36.0.2130.80
I believe the readily available version is 36.0.2130.65
I remember after searching around, I got to an Opera FTP site with:
Opera_winxpvista_36.0.2130.80_Setup.exe
and a seperate patch:
Opera_winxpvista_36.0.2130.80-36.0.2130.75_Patch.exe
The patch might be to update 36.0.2130.65 only. I don't remember if it's needed after 36.0.2130.80_Setup

36.0.2130.80_Setup installed without issue.
However, I received an error and needed to install:
cryptnet.dll version 5.131.2600.5512
which I got from https://www.dll-files.com/
then all was well.

Have not used it in a long time. Still resides in my 'puter. Just thought I'd put the info on if only for archival purposes.
