no sound

    i have a used pc, windows xp, and there is no sound at all. im new to all this. please help:confused:

    Click Start, Run and in the box enter:

    msinfo32

    Click OK, and when the System Summary info appears, click Edit, Select All (Ctrl-A), Copy (Ctrl-C) and then paste (Ctrl-V) the information back here in your next reply.
    You can edit out any personal information.

    also while in this box, expand components on left by clicking the plus sign, then highlight Sound device and copy that info also.

    then I can look on line for your driver as you need to install it.
