No Sound After Custom Install

    Hello guys! i recently downgraded my windows from 7 to xp... I did a custom install of windows xp through a disc. Everything works well, but the problem is sound drivers. I am unable to hear any sound through my speakers. any solution?

    I assume that you went to the pc's manufacturer's website??

    if not what is the make, model, and model number of your pc?

    if it is self built what make of sound card?

    do you hear with headphones?

    any errors listed in event viewer?

    run checkdisk with the /r parameter.

    i fixed it... i updated the sound drivers... Thanks alot! :)
