No Bootable Device-Please Insert Boot Disk and Press Any Key

    Hello guys,I am a newbie! How are you?
    Uhm,I have a question to ask,can we install windows(eg.windows XP)on a hard drive that say no bootable device? Please help! I need my pc to do homework!

    replace the cmos battery, if this does not solve the problem then your hard drive has bit the dust, read this thread and see what you think

    also read on that error at this search page
