New 2TB HDD not initialized

    Settings: XP sp 3

    Drive 0 --- 2TB HDD (master) (boot drive)
    Drive 0 --- 1TB HDD (slave)
    Drive 1 --- CD/DVD (master)

    The settings above are working fine for longtime.

    Just add on:

    Drive 2 --- 2TB HDD (master) --> Can see the HDD but can not initialized in Disk Management, don't see any options to initialize the HDD.

    I'm new here, please give me some helps.

    Right click on the Disk 2, don't see any initialize option.

    you can only have one master drive, can you change to slave?

    is there any data on this drive?

    assign a different drive letter, what happens?

    Is it a new disk or you are worried not to lose what is in it ?
    it depends on that if its easy or lengthy !
