My Windows XP laptop won’t turn on

    My Windows XP isn’t turning on and the battery icon is flickering when I charge it. If I remove the charger, then it won’t flicker, however if I press the on button, the power and battery light just light up and if I hold the power button, it will do the same thing but not turn on..

    What brand and model of laptop is it?

    The flickering battery light could mean that you have a bad charger cord and it is not charging properly, however that is just speculation.

    do you have a ac adapter, if you do, plug in and see if laptop will start
