My windows is new or used-how to recognise this?

    Hello,

    I am User43 Kind Regards to you.I have problem with my XP.My problem is that I bought a laptop form a company with Windows XP with packed instruction and CD in it which was not opened.I am not sure if my XP is new I respect law so I don`t want to use someone XP becouse it is a stealing.Please write me how I can recognise if my Windows is new or not.Is there a chance to check a data of instalation my XP on the laptop by Windows Power Shell or by other similar program or are instruction with CD"not opened"a sign?

    The legal situation is a single copy of XP may only be installed on one computer at a time.

    Load your copy of XP and register it. If it is in use by someone else, they will refuse to register it.

    what is the make, model and model number of the pc and I can get an online user guide for you to view or download, and it will help you get drivers and install your os.

    Just open www.google.com and search you product key.
    If you find it anywhere it is used.
