Does anyone know of an audio file tag editor which automatically updates tag info on a batch of files using online databases, and still functions under Windows XP 32?

I recently installed the portable version of Mp3Tag for Windows 2.84a, which is supposedly the last version stable under XP. But I can't get the program to connect to any of the provided online databases. It won't even connect to the "check for updates" server. I'll try the 3.05.

EDIT: OK, this version is a slight improvement.... it will connect to MusicBrainz. (nothing else though). Problem is a dialog pops up asking me for Artist and Album, and I don't know which of the dozen possible albums a given song was released on. So what is this program supposed to do to help? Is it intended to search just one song at a time?

I'll go through the documentation and see how much work this takes.... lemme know if you came across anything that wasn't properly explained.
