MOZILLA BETRAYED US ALL!!!

I used to use office (office 2000) but its very old now so I just stick with wordpad and notepad; but only so much you can do, of course with them on XP - Only so much you can do with XP anyway haha......
I'll see your office 2000 and raise you... Office 97!
haha I love that it's so fast, opens like notepad. The opening splash screen, I couldn't even PrintScreen capture it before it disappeared. Winword.exe is just 5mb, and the entire Program Files\Microsoft Office folder is just 20mb! Excel.exe is also 5mb. The amazing thing is, this Office pre-dates Microsoft Installer so you don't have any slow buggy MSI files to deal with, just good old fashioned InstallShield.

If I need to load a Docx file from clowns with newer Offices, I load up my XP VM with OfficeXP and Docx Converter installed.

So you use XP in a VM? Good to know! What OS do you use as main? Also please send me the download link and make sure to check out the WindowsXP Antivirus message group - massive update!
:)

https://archive.org/details/microsoftoffice97professional There ya go! I already had my own copy so I don't know if this is identical, but I would imagine. The page says it includes keys!
XP64sp2 is my main/host, and with VMware 10.0.7 I load a number of other Windows, such as VM win7 x32 (Tiny7) with non-persistant storage, when an obnoxious website demands real, updated Firefox with fingerprinting support. A VM with XPsp3 with OfficeXP and Docx Convert.

Could I get the link to Tiny7 please? Also thanks for Office97, but I couldn't find any link...

When I load the archive org link for office97, I see the following=
Last time I downloaded an ISO (win10ame) from archive org it was very slow (I believe 15kb/sec average) with many connection resets. So if the torrent option finds seeds, it should be a much faster option.

It says I need a "qualifying product". Where do I get that? Is it Office 97 Basic?

Wow, sounds like that ISO is only an upgrader then. My ISO is the full cd, it's never asked for a qualifying product. I suppose you could also download Office95 from archive.org I bet that qualifies
