Mouse Freezes When Laptop Wakes from Sleep - HELP!

does it stay locked up forever or only for a little while??
if it is just a few minutes, then something is running and not quite finished before your mouse is released.

It completely locks up and freezes. No matter what I do, it doesn't move.
go to the manufacturer's website and download the driver for the mouse and then reinstall the driver, that is one solution.

also does it do the same thing in safe mode??
if not then it probably is a third party install that is causing the freeze, what have you installed lately??

Thanks Liz.. But I dont have a USB mouse, I got a trackpad. Sorry for the confusion. But I'll still look at the link nontheless.. Have a good one, sweetheart.

you might want to check out the above search page and read some of the threads, I have not worked with a touchpad before as I use a mouse.
Also, my pc stays on 24/7 so I do not use sleep.
