Missing Application

    I am running XP Professional Version 2000 Service Pack 3. I have a TRENDnet TEW-421 PC Wireless Adapter. After installing the LAN configuration Utility everything works fine. After shutting down and restarting the utility is no longer working. If I reinstall the utility it will work fine until I shutdown and then I have to repeat the reinstall process. Anyone know what is going on and why the need to reinstall the software?
