I really like how old Massiva was setup... Very logical and also capable as it can handle some powerful synths & without ASIO (or with if you wish)... All VST Params OR MIDI Controllers can be automated (drawn out)... Massiva uses 'plotter points' which look square & weird but the way to visualize is a point going to another in linear fashion not square jumps...
Massiva also is great for multi-Timbral synths & is easy to add channels to same synth...
Step recording (like a TRACKER, not talking like a drum grid) is great & easy to switch up... This can be done using MIDI keyboard or Massiva has 'Tracker Keyboard' option for entering step notes using QWERTY...
Massiva can't use REX files but it can use 'ZEX' files which are REX files strictly for Massiva... I have included some...
There's also Energy Pro, Synthetic II, Machine II, CyberFREE, energyCM & AudioSynth (SF2 import) which are all by same developer...
Also jammed in various portable Synth & FX as this Massiva is PORTABLE... Run it from anywhere it will look in relative folders... Synths go in 'Synth' folder & Effects go in 'fx' folder there is no 'hooking' of a VSTplugins folder... Personally I like it this way... ALOT!
