mame program minimized on startup

hi everybody
i would like a little help
i have a pentium 3 pc that i use only to run mame games(mame plus 1.35)
i dont have a keyboard,i only have a mouse and a joypad.
i have set mame to automatically start when i boot windows xp sp3.
so i power the pc,it boots...mame auto loads,but its immediately minimized !
i dont want that to happen !
any ideas please?

thank you for answering but i had already tried that...
it seems that the taskbar loads after the mame.exe...
because the program loads,i see the menu for a second, and then the taskbar loads and mame.exe gets minimised.
if i could postpone the loading for a couple of seconds until the pc is completely ready maybe it would be successful.
my other pc has windows 7 and it auto loads maximized the same exe and everything is fine.
i forgot to mention im using xp lite

 

I wish I could help but maybe you could ask in the MAME forums if they have one, or maybe someone else here may come up with a solution.
