I would like to hear opinions as to which is better addition to XP Pro. Right now I am leaning towards MAE, because it does not require .NET Framework, but I have not decided yet, so let me know which you like better, and why. Thanks!

I have two antivirus in xp operating system. i just love malwarebytes antivirus. malwarebytes is very comport Malwarebytes Anti-Malware's industry-leading scanner detects and removes malware like worms, Trojans, rootkits, rogues, spyware, and more. All you have to do is launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and run a scan. It's that simple. Or if you want even better protection, consider Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium and its instant real-time scanner that automatically prevents malware and websites from infecting your PC. Either way you're crushing malware and foiling hackers you can download here

    Hello,

I use for antivirus - Panda Cloud Antivirus - all "overheads" and updates (daily) are "in the cloud" and really no noticeable impact RAM wise. And yes, Panda does really work, it puts AVG etc to shame.

For malware/trojans I use Malwarebytes. A manual scan at the end of the day. I agree with Elizabeth23, Malwarebytes is not an anti-virus program.

    Cheers from Aunty Jack.
